We are very excited that the holidays are right around the corner and we are EXTRA excited for the 12 Days of Giveaways! We partnered with 14 local businesses to bring you some pretty amazing prizes. Tell us more about Woodland Sisters?

We are two sisters from Northern Ontario who who are feminists and environmentalists and who also happen to be Artists. We are inspired to make environmental and social change using storytelling, humour, illustrations and by making things.

What has been your favourite project that you have worked on so far?

The Woodland Notepad is our main and favourite project so far. The Woodland Notepad is an eco-conscious product made of recycled paper with hand printed covers. We are excited to make something for others to express themselves, whether it be forest notes, field notes, scratches or scribbles.

Favourite holiday song? 

Caitlin’s favourite holiday song is Winter Wonderland by Dean Martin and Cassidy’s favourite holiday song is I’ll be Home for Christmas by Frank Sinatra.

Favourite thing about celebrating the holidays in Sudbury?

One of our favourite things about the holidays in Sudbury is having the extended family over for a skating party on the pond in the backyard with homemade french fries and hot chocolate.
