Calling all Artists: Jazz Sudbury Emerging Artists Showcase

You have until this Sunday, May 15th at 11:59 p.m. to get your submissions in for this year’s Jazz Sudbury Emerging Artists Showcase. Artists from anywhere in Ontario are invited to submit a five-minute video showcasing your talents! The videos will be initially judged by panel of jazz industry professionals and you have the opportunity to win one of three $500 paid performance prizes and the $1000 grand prize as well as the opportunity to perform on the main stage at the Jazz Sudbury Festival.

Last year they added a finalist concert to happen in June and they are bringing that back for their 2016 season! The Top 3 performers will be invited to join Jazz Sudbury at the festival launch on June 8th where they will announce the lineup for this year’s festival – taking place September 7th – 11th at the Grace Hartman Amphitheatre.
