Calling All Bargain Hunters, The Sudbury Flea Market Has Arrived!

Calling All Bargain Hunters, The Sudbury Flea Market Has Arrived!

If you’re like me you love nothing more than a great deal! Case and point the quarter of my wardrobe that is made up of clothes I don’t really like and probably won’t ever wear just because they were such a great discount (I’m looking at you pleated metallic midi skirt)! And every discount diva has their one great find, like the wall mirror my sister and I found on a curb in Toronto one New Years – it survived a half hour walk in the freezing cold, a house party, was stashed behind a dumpster while we went to a bar and 2 crammed Uber rides. It now hangs proudly on her wall as a testament to the thriftiness of two sisters raised to stretch a dollar. At the Sudbury Flea Market we’ll get to sample the best in local vendors, unique and vintage finds, antiques and so much more! And with a rotating roster of vendors expected for the weekly market there’ll be something new every time. Join the Sudbury Flea Market for their opening day April 10th 10a.m. – 4p.m. for their first weekly event for a different kind of shopping experience!

Tell us more about the Sudbury Flea Market.

There used to be some Flea Markets in Sudbury awhile back and certain regions in Ontario have them on weekly basis, so it was just a matter of time before one got started again in the Northern Ontario region and it’s great that we have the facility to host a weekly event like the Sudbury Flea Market here in Sudbury. The markets will be held indoors at the historic Sudbury Events Centre, formerly the Mine Mill Hall at 19 Regent Street in downtown Sudbury. The idea is to host a weekly event and continue to evolve and have new vendors all the time, providing Sudbury with a traditional “indoor yard sale” type event where people can find all sorts of unique items they would not find in stores. The Sudbury Flea Market will be held weekly, every Sunday from 10am-4pm starting on April 10th.

What kind of items and vendors can we expect to find?

There will be a variety of vendors at the Sudbury Flea Market, and since vendors can rent a space or table on a weekly or monthly basis, there will be different vendors each week to provide a variety of new items each week. Items that can be found at the Sudbury Flea Market include antiques and collectibles, vintage items, unique second-hand items, antique furniture, household items, music and entertainment items, electronics, jewelry, video games, candles and soaps, food and drink vendors, clothing and accessories and lots more. We are hoping that more vendors get involved as the Flea Market grows and the response has been great so far.

Where can we find more information about setting up a table at the Sudbury Flea Market?

Interested vendors can email the Sudbury Events Centre at sudburyeventscentre@gmail.com or send a message to the Sudbury Flea Market Facebook page.

Where can we find more information and keep up to date with Sudbury Flea Market?

An official website is currently in the works, however the Sudbury Flea Market Facebook page is a great place to keep up to date with the weekly events and to get in touch for more information.
