The team will be covering the exterior of the old St. Joseph’s hospital on Paris st. This neglected eyesore will very soon be turned into an epic piece of art right on the shores of Ramsey Lake!!! Jocko Chartrand: Brightly shining

Sudbury visual artist Jocko Chartrand opened a new exhibit at the Art Galler of Sudbury titled Brightly shining. Back in 1976, Jocko opened his first solo show at Rothman’s Gallerey here in Sudbury and since 1973 he has been exhibiting his work since 1973 in Toronto and Sudbury. Jocko Chartrand studied fine arts here in Sudbury at Cambrian College with a focus in painting and engraving. GET READY TO RUMBLE ART BATTLE IS BACK

Twelve Sudbury artists are getting their brushes ready, their palates out and their war paint on for the ultimate face off! Art Battle is back for another heart-pounding year of fast and furious painting at the Cambrian College Student Centre. Catch the action October 4th as a dozen artists face off in 3 rounds of competition turning their blank canvas into a brilliant creation in just 20 minutes! 'Among the Trees' opens at Salute on May 15th

Julieanne Steedman is a colour-loving, coffee-drinking Northern Ontario visual artist. Her new collection of work ‘Among the Trees’ opens at Salute Coffee Company this coming Tuesday, May 15th from 5-6pm.
