AN OPEN LETTER FROM “THE ARMPIT OF ONTARIO”

This is an open letter in response to an article posted on Noisey on October 28th, 2016 interviewing Sudbury group Casper Skulls. Read full original article here. Dear Southern Ontarian, Hey there! Its us, the residents of Sudbury, the happiest city in Canada! We heard it’s common belief that our city doesn’t have much of a music scene. We’re really sorry you feel that way. We’ll be the first to admit we don’t necessarily have all the huge venues and boundless options for musical entertainment the big city might have, but what we do have is the industrious, fearless,...

Tunes From Beyond The Grave

Tunes From Beyond The Grave

This may be an unpopular opinion, but if I have to listen to one more freaking Halloween playlist with Thriller or the Monster Mash on it I’m going to become a campfire ghost story. So instead of making a totally tacky Halloween playlist for you with all the same exact songs you hear every year that make you want to drill out your eardrums, I decided to think outside of the coffin and give you a brief reprieve. This month you’ve got an hour of tracks from artists who have passed over to the great beyond, but their music...
