Jocko Chartrand: Brightly shining

Sudbury visual artist Jocko Chartrand opened a new exhibit at the Art Galler of Sudbury titled Brightly shining. Back in 1976, Jocko opened his first solo show at Rothman’s Gallerey here in Sudbury and since 1973 he has been exhibiting his work since 1973 in Toronto and Sudbury. Jocko Chartrand studied fine arts here in Sudbury at Cambrian College with a focus in painting and engraving. His exhibition history includes shows with La Slague, la Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario, the Fringe Festival, and the Laurentian University Museum and Art Center (now the Art Gallery of Sudbury).
