Pride Week is upon us here in Sudbury! A week full of celebration, love, acceptance and of course the occasional rainbow flag. Sudbury Secondary School is fundraising for their music students who are travelling to Chicago next year to compete internationally in the Heritage Music Festival. The students went to Boston this past school year for the same festival and their groups (band and choir) earned two silver awards. Heart of Ruth Mission: 5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner

Heart of Ruth Mission is hosting our 5th Annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on January 13th, 2018 in Sudbury and this year will be bigger and better than ever! The night starts at 4pm at 430 Westmount Ave (in the Westmount Plaza) under the Christian Horizons sign. Live entertainment will begin at 5pm Brooke Bruce feat. Mike Mascioli!! Greater Sudbury has a new food strategy!

The Greater Sudbury Food Policy Council and the Social Planning Council of Sudbury launched The Greater Sudbury Food Strategy this week! The two part event consisted of a workshop session with 60 key stakeholders from various organizations gathering to commit to implement the 5 Pillars of the Food Strategy. The second part was an evening celebration with 160 people in attendance who enjoyed an all-local dinner, live music and a presentation of the Food Strategy. Sudbury Makes Strides In The Fight Against Cystic Fibrosis
