Why you shouldn’t consider potatoes vegetables.

It is not uncommon to sit down at a dinner table and the meal includes meat, grains and potatoes.  My question always is where are the vegetables?  The answer I always get is potatoes are a vegetable.  But are they? Here are some reasons why I would not consider potatoes a vegetable. When I think of vegetables I think of the nutrition factor they have, along with all the enzymes, which is why they should be eaten at every meal.  Potatoes contain vitamin C, vitamin B6, copper, potassium, manganese, tryptophan and fiber.  These are all great things and do......

AN OPEN LETTER FROM “THE ARMPIT OF ONTARIO”

This is an open letter in response to an article posted on Noisey on October 28th, 2016 interviewing Sudbury group Casper Skulls. Read full original article here. Dear Southern Ontarian, Hey there! Its us, the residents of Sudbury, the happiest city in Canada! We heard it’s common belief that our city doesn’t have much of a music scene. We’re really sorry you feel that way. We’ll be the first to admit we don’t necessarily have all the huge venues and boundless options for musical entertainment the big city might have, but what we do have is the industrious, fearless,......

TOP MOVIE RECOMMENDATIONS FROM TWO HORROR LOVING SISTERS

My sister, Emmalee and I did not get along growing up. With a nearly six year age difference we fought like cats and dogs over everything you could imagine.
