Making History: Laurentian’s Women Hockey Season Recap

This was a BIG year for the Lady Vees. For the very first time, the Laurentian Women’s hockey team appeared in the first round of the post-season. It was a ground-breaking moment for Laurentian and for the players involved, as well as the hockey program in Sudbury. Ontario Figure Skating Championship Set to Begin in Sudbury

Figure skating fans will be flocking to Sudbury this weekend to cheer on some of the best skaters in the province. The 2016 Skate Ontario Championships will be taking place from March 18-20 at Country Side Arena. Pond Hockey Festival on the Rock

There are few things more Canadian than spending the day playing hockey on a frozen lake and for many Sudburians the Pond Hockey Festival on the Rock (Feb 5-6-7, 2016) is a highly anticipated event.
