Sam Hirst: Voyageur in the Community

Laurentian Universities’ Men’s Basketball team performed admirably this season. Throughout 19 games, the Voyageurs finished with a 6-13 record, recording an average of 70 points per game, with Collingwood native Sam Hirst performing impeccably. This was a BIG year for the Lady Vees. For the very first time, the Laurentian Women’s hockey team appeared in the first round of the post-season. It was a ground-breaking moment for Laurentian and for the players involved, as well as the hockey program in Sudbury.
