CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP 11: BRITTANY MCNAMARA

Welcome to another edition of Crater Conversations, a weekly show live on CKLU now on at a brand spanking new time Tuesday’s at 5PM! So, what exactly is the show all about? Join your host Crater co-founder Jess each week as we sit down with a local guest, we’ll talk about their projects, their passions, and the things they love about our little rock town! We’ll be sitting down with performers, entrepreneurs, community leaders – really anyone with a story. Personal anecdotes, first inspirations, childhood follies, who knows where this will take us but we can’t wait to find out!  Can’t catch the show on air? No worries, all our episodes will be posted online afterwards for easy listening. If you’re inclined to tune in live you can dial in to CKLU 96.7 or stream live at https://www.cklu.ca/ 5PM every Tuesday.

Are you a fan of all things graphic? A fan of all the characters and action that makes the anime world so entrancing? Well we’ve got the perfect guest for you! In this edition we spoke with Brittany McNamara who you might also know as Cxptain Greyson. Brittany is a crafter with a love for all things anime. She has been able to find a way to combine both of these hobbies and branch into the wild world of cosplay. Appearing as Oi!Cosplay, you can find Brittany along with her equally anime comrades, hitting up Graphic Con and other various cons. As she’s mastered the art of costuming she’s opened up to share her secrets to other fans on Youtube, Twitch and hosted workshops at Greater Sudbury Public Library‘s Makerspace during her time as Maker in Residence. Listen in to this weeks episode here and check out our Spotify playlist for this edition here.
