CRATER CONVERSATIONS EP 13: NICO TAUS

Welcome to another edition of Crater Conversations, a weekly show live on CKLU now on at a brand spanking new time Tuesday’s at 5PM! So, what exactly is the show all about? Join your host Crater co-founder Jess each week as we sit down with a local guest, we’ll talk about their projects, their passions, and the things they love about or little rock town! We’ll be sitting down with performers, entrepreneurs, community leaders – really anyone with a story. Personal anecdotes, first inspirations, childhood follies, who knows where this will take us but we can’t wait to find out!  Can’t catch the show on air? No worries, all our episodes will be posted online afterwards for easy listening. If you’re inclined to tune in live you can dial in to CKLU 96.7 or stream live at https://www.cklu.ca/ 5PM every Tuesday.

This week we’re talking with Nico Taus – a name you might not be familiar with but his work you certainly are. Nico is one of the co-founders of Studio 123 – the team behind some of our most recognizable brands like Stack Brewing, Pinchman’s, Stitch & Stone, Diggs & Dwellings and with just a few years under their belts I’m sure we’ll be seeing more from them. Studio 123‘s approach to design is simple – they want to design a world that communicates better. Maybe easier said than done but I think their work speaks for itself with its no fuss no muss approach. Chatting with Nico was a real treat, it’s not often you run into someone who’s able to speak so eloquently and passionately about what they do and especially when it’s something so intangible like design. Listen in as we pick his brain, find the episode here and check out our Spotify playlist here.

*This is a recording of live show on CKLU 96.7 airing January 30, 2018.
