STC Cabaret Series: Ladies of the Rock feat. Samantha Simone
Sudbury Theatre Centre Presents a NEW cabaret series: LADIES OF THE ROCK! This 3-part series will showcase some of Sudbury's giant population of amazing female musicians and artists: come let us give you some insight as to what these rockin' gals are up to! Hosted by the incredibly talented rockin' lady herself, Kelly Perras, these three evenings are sure to get your toes tapping and your minds thinking about what Sudbury has to offer. Our first lady of the rock is the sweet Samantha Simone! Fresh off of a stellar debut performance in Sudbury Burlesque's Monster's Ball 3, Samantha is one multi-faceted artist you don't want to miss the chance to see. Northern Axperts Grand Opening
Throwing axes isn't just for lumberjacks anymore! Northern Axperts caters to adventurous, adrenaline-seeking individuals looking to experience a new-age competitive battle. Book your corporate function, birthday party, bachelor party, special event or just book a session with friends for something different to do in Subdury for fun! Leagues will also begin this April! Our trained axe throwing coaches will guide you on how to properly throw an axe while making sure you have a great time! Evening Owl Prowls at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area
Back by popular demand! Join Conservation Sudbury for our exciting evening Owl Prowls. Come over to the dark side and meet those amazing birds that exist by moonlight! The events will be held at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area Nature Chalet (2309 South Bay Rd.) on Wednesday March 1, and Wednesday March 8, 2017 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Spend the evening with Chris Blomme and Greg Blomme, from the Sudbury Ornithological Society, who, through a 30 minute presentation, will introduce you to the fascinating lives of our local species of owls. Then take a quiet night hike, where we will try to call in some wild owls. Warm up with hot chocolate in the Nature Chalet afterwards. This free event is family friendly. Participants should bring a flashlight for the night hike. Space for this activity is limited to 25 participants each evening.
