STC Cabaret Series: Ladies of the Rock feat. Samantha Simone
Sudbury Theatre Centre Presents a NEW cabaret series: LADIES OF THE ROCK! This 3-part series will showcase some of Sudbury's giant population of amazing female musicians and artists: come let us give you some insight as to what these rockin' gals are up to! Hosted by the incredibly talented rockin' lady herself, Kelly Perras, these three evenings are sure to get your toes tapping and your minds thinking about what Sudbury has to offer. Our first lady of the rock is the sweet Samantha Simone! Fresh off of a stellar debut performance in Sudbury Burlesque's Monster's Ball 3, Samantha is one multi-faceted artist you don't want to miss the chance to see. The Laurentian Interprofessional Health Council (LIHC) is hosting the 2nd annual interprofessional simulation challenge for Laurentian University, NOSM and Collège Boréal students March 11th and March 12th 2017 at Collège Boréal. This event is a great way to meet other students from health programs,enhance your interprofessional knowledge, clinical skills and take part in a medical simulation challenge. Due to limited space in the simulation lab we are accepting 36 students. Simply Queen In Support of the Canadian Diabetes Association
SIMPLY QUEEN is a world class act. The band is fronted by Freddie Mercury impersonator extraordinaire Rick Rock. Guitarist Bob Wegner was hand-picked by Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor to play guitar in the production of the "We Will Rock You" musical. Drummer Greg Hawco is a successful composer, notably for the CBC television series "Republic of Doyle." Mitch Taylor on bass is a veteran of the southwestern Ontario circuit. This LIVE TRIBUTE performs all the iconic songs that made Queen one of the most legendary rock bands of all time, and faithfully recreates the grand scope of Queen's live shows, both musically and visually, with attention to detail capturing the amazing live Queen experience that filled stadiums around the world.
