The 2018 Northern Game Design Challenge is almost here! Grab up to 3 of your friends, form a team, and race against the 48 hour clock to make the best possible video game in the time allotted! Live Music with Duncan Cameron
Duncan Cameron creates fresh and detailed folk music. His compositions and adaptations of old songs in both French and English reveal the depth and contrast of emotions in lyrics as well as instrumental music. To that end, his arrangements and compositions draw not only from Celtic roots but also classical music, funk, and other popular styles.

YUK YUK’S COMEDY NIGHT IN SUDBURY
Yuk Yuk's Sudbury will kick off the New Year in style on Friday January 12th at Overtime Bar & Grill with one of Canada's funniest men- the legendary Mike MacDonald.In addition to his successful and well-received live performances all over North America, Mike has appeared on numerous TV shows on HBO, Showtime, The Comedy Network, and CBC’s Just For Laughs. He has also starred in three well received and critically acclaimed specials for the CBC in Canada and for Showtime in the US which include, On Target, My House My Rules! and Happy As I Can Be. It promises to be a great show. Tickets will sell fast- only $40 dollars in advance Show time on Friday Jan 12th will be 8:30 p.m.

Come and try your hand at curling. You've likely seen it at some point as a spectator, now come try it from the perspective of a participant. Curlers of all ages and abilities are welcome! In just 90 minutes our instructors will orient you to the ice, review how to deliver a stone and sweep and even finish out the session with a quick end or two. If I've lost you with the lingo, I promise you'll understand after you spend a few minutes with us! This is great timing to give curling a try and be ready to jump into the second half of the curling season! JUBE’S PRESENTS MISSY DAWN DUO
Frontin’ the stage and representing the North, Sudbury based Singer/Songwriter Melissa Belanger (Missy Dawn) is back after an extended musical hiatus. Melissa’s music career launched in 1999 when she formed Canada’s Leading Dixie Chick Tribute Band -Dixie Chicklets Rockabilly/Country/Blues Her tone, uncannily similar to Natalie Maine’s, she is often compared to her musical influences Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. Melissa has toured many corners of North America including both Eastern/ Western Coasts of Canada, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Mississippi, and New York headlines and supporting at Festivals, Fairs, Casinos & Clubs. Notable shows include Calgary Stampede, Edmonton Klondike Days and many popular North American Music Festivals.
