The Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour is coming back to Sudbury, Ontario!! This amazing festival features picturesque films from outdoor adventurers all over the world. Door prizes and raffles will be held by the Laurentian University Outdoor Adventure Leadership Program. NEW THIS YEAR: -New location! This year's event will be held at the All Nations Church, located at 414 St. Raphael St. Sudbury, ON. 450 seats per night, and free parking! -2 Days! This year's event will take place on January 26th AND January 27th. Each evening will have DIFFERENT movies playing. Tickets are $20 per night ($40 for both nights), and will be colour coded to differentiate which ticket is for which night. Local vendors are: ARC Climbing Ramakko's Outside Store Adventure 365. Frontin’ the stage and representing the North, Sudbury based Singer/Songwriter Melissa Belanger (Missy Dawn) is back after an extended musical hiatus. Melissa’s music career launched in 1999 when she formed Canada’s Leading Dixie Chick Tribute Band -Dixie Chicklets Rockabilly/Country/Blues Her tone, uncannily similar to Natalie Maine’s, she is often compared to her musical influences Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood. Melissa has toured many corners of North America including both Eastern/ Western Coasts of Canada, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Mississippi, and New York headlines and supporting at Festivals, Fairs, Casinos & Clubs. Notable shows include Calgary Stampede, Edmonton Klondike Days and man...y popular North American Music Festivals.
