STC Cabaret Series: Ladies of the Rock feat. Samantha Simone
Sudbury Theatre Centre Presents a NEW cabaret series: LADIES OF THE ROCK! This 3-part series will showcase some of Sudbury's giant population of amazing female musicians and artists: come let us give you some insight as to what these rockin' gals are up to! Hosted by the incredibly talented rockin' lady herself, Kelly Perras, these three evenings are sure to get your toes tapping and your minds thinking about what Sudbury has to offer. Our first lady of the rock is the sweet Samantha Simone! Fresh off of a stellar debut performance in Sudbury Burlesque's Monster's Ball 3, Samantha is one multi-faceted artist you don't want to miss the chance to see. Break Out of Your Shell!
Develop your skills, build your confidence, find your voice in this new 2-day version of the public speaking course. This course will cover 6 of the biggest components of public speaking and presentations: -nervousness -owning the stage -timing -vocalizations -speaking off the cuff -putting it all together The interactive course includes hands-on activities, practicing with your peers, and a little bit of action-based homework (not too much!) in order to get you more comfortable with public speaking. Designed for all backgrounds and assuming no prior knowledge or experience, this course will give you the tools you need to break out of your shell! Coffee/tea and lunch is included on both days and is provided by Just Giovanna's. Please let me know if you have any questions about the course, I am happy to help!
