STC Cabaret Series: Ladies of the Rock feat. Samantha Simone
Sudbury Theatre Centre Presents a NEW cabaret series: LADIES OF THE ROCK! This 3-part series will showcase some of Sudbury's giant population of amazing female musicians and artists: come let us give you some insight as to what these rockin' gals are up to! Hosted by the incredibly talented rockin' lady herself, Kelly Perras, these three evenings are sure to get your toes tapping and your minds thinking about what Sudbury has to offer. Our first lady of the rock is the sweet Samantha Simone! Fresh off of a stellar debut performance in Sudbury Burlesque's Monster's Ball 3, Samantha is one multi-faceted artist you don't want to miss the chance to see. Vale has donated 10,000 trees! Come with your friends, family, office, community organizations, church, etc. and plant a tree (or lots of them) atKivi Park! Scouts Canada, Girl Guides of Canada, Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School, Forests Ontario and many other groups will be helping to continue the remarkable regreening of the City of Greater Sudbury! There will be a BBQ lunch, Music, Fire Trucks, Face Painting, Bouncy Castles, and activities after for the kids. Volunteers needed. Zero Gravity Aerial Yoga Teacher Training
ARC Climbing Yoga Fitness is proud to welcome Suzanne Hennig of P3 Yoga for a 2-day intensive Zero Gravity Aerial Yoga Teacher Training! You will learn: beginner level aerial yoga techniques including, hip openers, deep stretches, forward and back inversions, strength & conditioning, cardiovascular exercises, heart openers, back bends and stretches, deep relaxation techniques opening warm-up sequences on the Zero-Gravity Aerial Yoga Hammock. You will learn how to sequence a class that progresses into tricks & flips. Learn safe and effective spotting techniques, how to evaluate and what to watch for with clients of varying abilities. Inversions and restorative postures. May 13 | Saturday 10:30am - 6:30pm May 14 | Sunday 8:30am - 2:30pm APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF RYT-200 OR EQUIVALENT. PROOF OF CERTIFICATION REQUIRED.
