Health Food Store Shopping List: Be Greater Organics

If you haven’t yet checked out Be Greater Organics, the latest health food store in Sudbury, I highly recommend you do.  They are not your typical health food store in our city, the layout is trendy and clean, but the items they offer are definitely unique.  The difference between this store and some of the others is the products they have brought in from all over Ontario, mainly food products focusing on allergy-friendly ingredients.

Here is my must buy items from Be Greater Organics:

Thornbury Bakery Bread: If you have never tried this brand of bread, it is pretty great for a “healthier” option.  This company focuses on gluten free, peanut free, vegan, and non gmo buns, baguettes and bread. My favourite is the buns that I have used for hamburger buns before and were pretty amazing!

Smoothie Bar: One thing that makes this health food store unique is that they have their own smoothie bar.  Along with some delicious fresh smoothies, they also offer freshly baked allergen-friendly treats, and ready to go salads and wraps.

Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate: They have an assortment of so many different types of chocolate bars, which aren’t just your normal chocolate bars.  They really focus on healthier chocolate bar options, ones that use coconut sugar or monk fruit as sweetener, also ones that focus on non dairy but still have the milk chocolate taste.  Then there is also your eco-friendly fair trade ones as well, and even some raw options too.

LIVE products: This one hits a little close to home, LIVE organics food bar is a restaurant in Toronto that is one of my favs.  This company makes products that they sell through health food stores throughout Ontario and now they are here in the north.  Different products of theirs that are offered at the store are wraps, and crackers.  I recently tried the Curry Pumpkin Nori crackers and they were beyond tasty! Most of their products are raw but very filling and satisfying to the taste buds.

Four Sigma:  This is a company that has produced products that contain medicinal mushroom blends; they are packaged for different purposes.  There are hot cocoa mixes, one spicy blend for energizing or a calming blend, there are ones that are more specific to exercise that you can mix and drink or even coffee ones to add some positive benefits to your daily caffeine.
