SDLC International Women’s Day BrunchHosted by the Sudbury & District Labour Council Women’s Committee and the Canadian Labour Congress are hosting. Wen-Do Women’s Self Defence Course Day 1 – For all women and girls ages 10+! Participants will learn the basic skillset for verbal, psychological and physical self-defence. The oldest self-defence organization in Canada, Wen-Do means “Women’s Way.” This course promotes empowerment in a compassionate, supportive environment. No martial arts experience necessary and all bodies are welcome! Tickets: $150 – 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Location disclosed upon registration. More information here.

Ladies LuncheonWe are excited to bring together the women of Greater Sudbury for what is expected to be an elegant and inspiring afternoon. The Ladies Luncheon will be held on March 12, 2016 at the Natura Banquet Hall in support of the Sudbury Women’s Centre (SWC). We are inviting mothers, daughters, sisters and friends to celebrate International Women’s Day and come together for one purpose: women supporting women.
