It’s the most hilarious time of the year in the happiest city in Canada! Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Comedy Festival is here to help you shake off the winter chills with a line-up of comics sure to have you busting a gut. They kick off the festival with a SOLD OUT evening of Letter Kenny Comedy (fresh off their hat trick win at the Canadian Screen Awards earlier this month) and ends with the always outrageous Lisa Lampaneli. Club shows at the Durham Social will be a great chance to see a variety of comics from LOL’s carefully selected roster. And they didn’t forget about all your Francophone comedy fans – André-Philippe Gagnon will delight in his all French show (but get your tickets quick its almost sold out)! Saturday March 18th

A Night of Letter Kenny Comedy – Letterkenny is a Canadian television sitcom created by Jared Keeso that debuted on CraveTV in February 2016, and later also aired on The Comedy Network. Letterkenny revolves around the dustups that Wayne (Keeso) and his buds get into with their small-town Ontario rivals. There’s the Hicks, the Skids and the Hockey Players, who get at each other about the most mundane things, often ending with someone getting their ass kicked. “A Night of Letterkenny Comedy” will feature comics Nathan Dales, Jared Keeso, Mark Forward and K. Sunday March 19th

André-Philippe Gagnon – En 1985, André-Philippe Gagnon a acquis une renommée internationale grâce à une prestation tout à fait phénoménale au prestigieux festival Juste pour rire de Montréal. Il avait alors imité avec brio chacun des artistes ayant collaboré à la célèbre chanson humanitaire We Are The World, de Michael Jackson et Lionel Ritchie, enregistrée par United Support of Artists (USA) for Africa. Cette prestation lui a valu peu de temps après une invitation à présenter cette même version de We Are The World au Tonight Show, animé par Johnny Carson sur les ondes de NBC. Friday March 24th

TGIF – LOL Sudbury wants you to de-stress after a long week of work and come out for some unbridled fun! Bring a friend to laugh in the aisles and have an unforgettable night out! With thunderous comics and an amazing host, TGIF kicks off a weekend of must-see Club Shows! SiriusXM’s Top Comic Showcase – SiriusXM scours the country every year for the best in Canadian comedy with SiriusXM’s Top Comic and they’re bringing some of that homegrown comedy to you. Join them for a live taping to be aired on SiriusXM’s Canada Laughs, a 24/7 Canadian comedy channel broadcast across North America. Featuring the comedy of Ben Miner, Ashley Moffatt and Rob Bebenek, Chris Robinson, Jeff Mcenery and Nigel Grinstead. Cost: $26 +HST – 9:30PM @ Durham Social – 80 Durham St

Fruit Punch! LOL’s LGBT Comedy Showcase – Fruit Punch! will be a hilarious evening of celebration as we present some of the funniest LGBT comedians to ever come out of the closet. We take Pride in our amazing LGBT community and wanted to deliver a hilarious and inclusive comedy showcase. Your identity or orientation doesn’t matter here – you’ll LOVE this show if you like to LAUGH! LOL Late Night – Id inspired and I.D. required… this ain’t your parents’ quiet and quaint comedy club show! LOL Late Night features comics guaranteed to cram the night with laughter. No kidding. Lisa Lampanelli Live (16+)- Lisa Lampanelli is Comedy’s Lovable Queen of Mean. Heralded as “more than a standup — a standout,” by comedy legend Jim Carrey, Lampanelli is a cross between Don Rickles, Archie Bunker, and a vial of estrogen. She has won accolades from The King of All Media Howard Stern, who called her “a true original and a brilliant comedy mind who’ll steal the show every time.” Known for saying things that most people are afraid to think, Lisa Lampanelli’s raunchy, gut-busting performances are wildly popular at theaters across the U.S. and Canada. This equal opportunity offender is a regular on late night television, and a frequent guest and guest host on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM satellite radio shows. Lisa recently shot her fifth stand-up special, Back to the Drawing Board, proving this insult comic is new, improved, and funnier than ever.
