MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET IS A SURE FIRE HIT!

Sudbury Theatre Centre is kicking off its first season with a hip-shaking and gyrating musical sensation! This marks STC’s 46th year and they show no signs of slowing down! This show freezes in time a chance encounter in rock n’ roll history. What happens when Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis get together in a recording studio? In a true one time, only session four of the biggest names in music history wind up in a Sun Records studio together on December 4th, 1956. Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Johnny Cash, and Jerry Lee Lewis – and the legendary jam session that ensued remained under wraps until 1981. Bringing to life a night like no other this action filled show is jam-packed with your favourite oldies including Blue Suede Shoes, Fever, That’s All Right, Sixteen Tons, Great Balls of Fire, Walk the Line, Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On, Who Do You Love?, Matchbox, Folsom Prison Blues, Hound Dog, and more. Filling the iconic roles on stage are Calvin Laveck wild child Jerry Lee Lewis, Jesse MacMilan plays the brooding Johnny Cash, Michael Vanhevel takes on the King as Elvis Presley, and Joshua Wiles is the Rockabilly pioneer Carl Perkins. Calvin Laveck, Jesse MacMillan, Michael Vanhevel, and Joshua Wiles make up STC’s Million Dollar.
