DISCOVER THE TRUE NORTH WITH STC IN THEIR 45TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON!

Last week STC announced a jam-packed line-up of shows for their 45th season. With such a milestone upon them, they plan to celebrate all year long with three times the programming and the most diverse lineup this city’s seen to date! Giving every artist in Northern Ontario a chance to tell their unique story new music, comedy, dance and variety series will be in place to expand to all different styles of performance. Exciting partnerships with Théâtre duNovel-Ontario, YES Theatre, and Science North keep the collaborative spirit of Sudbury alive!

“To mark 45 years of professional theatre in the Sudbury region, we are launching a 16|17 Season that both celebrates our past and looks boldly ahead towards the future,” says Caleb Marshall, Artistic Executive Director. “By vastly expanding our lineup to include these four new series that reflects the different pillars of the performing arts beyond just ‘theatre’, we are positioning STC as your new home for the performing arts and broadening our community impact and engagement at a scale we’ve never attempted before.”

On top of all the great programming they have coming for the 16|17 year, they’re also making your theatre going experience even better with relaxed performances and half-price rush tickets! After a successful launch of their $12 student ticket program last season, they will now be extending student price to all Series. For all you hardcore theatre fans subscribing to STC just got even easier. Their new My Picks Subscription allows you to select 4 or more shows and tailor your theatre season – the more tickets you buy the more you save! It’s your theatre, Sudbury, why not enjoy it!
