UP HERE BRINGS DOWNTOWN SUDBURY TO NEW HEIGHTS
The recently renamed Up Here is back to paint the town – whatever the hell colour they want! With new murals to be popping up in our downtown core and a literal crap-ton of new acts to pay witness to it’s going to be a weekend for the books! You can get your passports now for the Early Bird rate of $110 here with tickets for individual shows will be up May 24th a 12 p.m.. You’d better get yours before they sell out but if you need some convincing the below should do the trick…

Kicking the weekend off you’ve got a choice of three entrees. First up an All-Ages Punk Show at Zigs Bar, followed by the official Kick-Off concert at The Grand, and if that’s not enough for you there’s still the Late-Night show at The Townehouse Tavern. Up Here responsibly folks – it’s a school night!

If Thursday wasn’t quite enough for you there’s more! The Grand plays host again for another line up to get you moving and after that double your pleasure with TWO late night venues to choose from! The Little Montreal and The Townehouse Tavern compete for your attention in a tug o’ war of line ups. On top of all that if you’re looking to browse the Discover Series from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. offers a buffet of musical options to choose from, and it’s all free!

You’re back for more?!? If you insist you insatiable party animal, but this one is not for the faint of heart! Join Up Here as they transform our downtown core into something reminiscent of a Keith Richard flash back…ok maybe not quite but the Durham strip will be transformed seemingly overnight into the Downtown Sudbury Playground. With temporary street scaping and interactive art displays bring the whole family for a day downtown, capping things off with a huge concert right in the street! But don’t think they’re done yet there’s still two Late Night shows to choose from, a super-secret Really Late Show and the cherry on top of the sundae the – highly anticipated All-Night Dance Party!
