No Bake Spiced Pear & Pomegranate Dessert

No Bake Desserts

Pomegranate season is in full swing. If you know me, you know that means I’m in utter bliss! Poms are my all-time favourite fruit and I mourn their disappearance from supermarket shelves each spring. Needless to say, while these babies are available, I incorporate them into as many recipes as humanly possible!

Whether or not you’re trying to appease a gluten-free friend, this spiced pear and pomegranate dessert should be the next recipe you try! If you’re looking for a more traditional dessert, simple bake some pre-made tarts according to their directions and spoon in the mixture!

Ingredients:

  • 4 pears, peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp. nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar

Directions:

  1. Toss pears with lemon juice, nutmeg, cinnamon & brown sugar.
  2. Add pomegranate seeds.
  3. Refrigerate for at least one hour.
  4. Serve cool.
