St. Patrick’s Day Round Up

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and we have the ins and outs of what is happening on March 17^th in Sudbury!  A day when everyone gets to be Irish and a great excuse to grab some pals for a brew – and it event falls on a weekend this year! So channel your inner Hulk and think green, drink green, have fun and be safe!

Peddler’s Pub – A classic outing on this Irish holiday!  The doors open at 11am and there will be live music beginning at 2pm. Cost: $10 – 11AM – 2AM @ Peddler’s Pub – 63 Cedar St

Sudbury’s Largest St. Patrick’s Day Party – This pub is filled with many events beginning at lunch!  From Irish dancers to the Sudbury District Pipe band performing not once but twice and live music, Ferrigan’s is surely going to be a bumping time! St. Patrick’s at Trevi – What is better than ringing in St. Patty’s Day with karaoke!  The Trevi is offering live music with Jeff Weismann and Trio beginning at 4pm.  Be sure to call and book your table for this green event! No cover charge – 4PM – 2AM @ Trevi’s Bar & Grill – 1837 Lasalle Blvd

St. Patrick’s Day Bash with DJ Bubba – The staff at Cousin Vinny’s are not messing around this year as they have DJ Bubba spinning the tunes for you all night in addition to giving away $300 dollars worth in prizes, bag pipe intermissions and there is a shuttle service available to anywhere in the Greater City of Sudbury!  Five dollar 20 oz drafts all night! St. Patrick’s Day Dance Party @ Fromagerie – The Fromo is hosting an epic Super Special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles DJ Dance and Pizza Party!  Challenge your friends to a pizza eating contest and a dance off all at the same place! Fagroongala @ STC – Fagroongala is a new quartet that will be performing Irish and French-Canadian songs at the Sudbury Theatre Centre beginning at 8pm! Cost: $25 – 8PM – 11PM @ Sudbury Theatre Centre – 170 Shaughnessy St

Billy John and the Irish Wake – For more than a decade, Billy John and his wild bunch have held court at The Townehouse for St. Patrick’s Day. It’s a friday this year so we’ll have a little after work hoot and then play the full night away while people dance. Cost: NA – 5:30PM – 2AM @ Townehouse Tavern – 206 Elgin St
