Top 5 Festive Drinks you can Find in Sudbury

Top 5 Festive Drinks you can Find in Sudbury

This week has been freezing so it’s time to warm up with some really delicious festive drinks! Why wait in line at Starbucks for a (let’s face it) subpar holiday drink when you get some more delicious ones at our local coffee shops? Today we’re sharing five of our favourite festive drinks we think you NEED to check out before the holidays pass us by.

The Cedar Nest – Peppermint White Mocha

If you haven’t already been to The Cedar Nest, you need to get over there. This is the most adorable café we’ve ever had the pleasure of drinking our coffee in. The décor makes you feel like you’ve been transported to another place, it’s the perfect hideaway in the middle of our city. They recently expanded so now there is even more room for you to sit and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee (we recommend the Peppermint White Mocha) on these cold winter days.

Salute Coffee Company – Candy Cane Hot Chocolate

Not a caffeine lover? No problem, Salute Coffee Company has one of the most delicious Candy Cane Hot Chocolates we’ve ever tasted. Conveniently located Downtown Sudbury and in the South End you really have no excuse not to stop by one of the locations to try out their festive drinks. We especially love the interior of the downtown location, the exposed brick makes for the perfect coffee shop vibes. If you’re lucky to get there when it isn’t too busy, try to snag the couches in the back corner. The perfect study spot.

Beards Bakery & Coffee Bar – Gingerbread Latte

For all of our vegan (or non vegan!) friends, Breads Bakery & Coffee Bar has got your festive drinks covered. We suggest the Gingerbread Latte and while you’re there you NEED to try one of their desserts. I don’t think we can pick just one to suggest, everything we have tried has been incredible. Especially the donuts. But we can guarantee whatever they are baking the day you stop by, it’s going to be delicious.

Frübar Juicery – Dark Hot Chocolate

Our local juicery doesn’t just serve juice! They have a great selection of warm drinks as well as an amazing food menu. If you’re looking for a healthy alternative to your sugar filled hot chocolate, try out their Dark Hot Chocolate. t

Quinta Essentia + Old Rock – Salted Almond Truffle Latte

For all of you Old Rock Coffee lovers who find themselves in New Sudbury, did you know Quinta Essentia serves Old Rock Coffee and even makes festive drinks? This is one we’ve never heard of until recently, the Salted Almond Truffle Latte – I but think it is going to become a new favourite of mine. While you’re there, check out what else they have going on –  they offer some great yoga classes, Reiki treatments and massage services.
