REEL ROCK FILM TOUR at ARC – Founded in 2006 by filmmakers Josh Lowell (Big UP Productions) and Peter Mortimer (Sender Films), the REEL ROCK Film Tour brings the best climbing and adventure films of the year to live audiences throughout the world. The film tour is the definitive annual event for climbing communities globally. REEL ROCK shows are high energy, community events that go beyond mere film screenings to include athlete and filmmaker appearances, prize giveaways, non-profit fundraising, and a party atmosphere. Montenegrin Guitar Duo – Montenegrin Guitar Duo (Goran Krivokapić and Danijel Cerović) caught the attention of international audiences and critics with their historically informed performances of J. Makers NORTH Handmade Holiday Market – We are super excited to be hosting our first event in Sudbury, Ontario. The MAKERS NORTH Handmade Holiday Market will take place on Saturday, November 5th 2016 from 10 AM – 5 PM at the Ukrainian Hall at 130 Frood Road. Admission is $2 or free for small humans under the age of 12 (proceeds go to fund upcoming workshops and art lessons). We’ll be curating the best of the best for this handcrafted, holiday event. Join us to meet some of the incredibly talented artists, makers and designers and see their stunning range of quality handmade goods including textiles, natural home and body products, jewellery, stationary, home decor and more. Opening Reception | Lake Huron Stillness by Ivan Wheale – Ivan Wheale explores Lake Huron in 10 original oil paintings. The title of the exhibition, Lake Huron Stillness, represents the peace and solitude of Northern Ontario’s unique landscapes, specifically Lake Huron.
