Annual General Meeting – Theatre Cambrian welcomes its members to the 2017 Annual General Meeting. In addition to the regular format of the annual general meeting, Theatre Cambrian will be announcing our upcoming 2017/2018 season. Free Youth Origami Crane Creation Event  The ‘Peace by Piece’ project is coming to Azian Restaurant. Led by: Leesa Bringa, Coordinator of the ‘Peace by Piece’ art exhibit at the Open Studio, Cambrian College Youth will be folding 2 cranes. One for Leesa’s ‘Peace by Piece’ project to be displayed at the Open Studio & the other to keep. Parental supervision is required. Pre-registration is required @Azian Restaurant as spaces are limited. No cost. Origami paper provided. 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. @ Azian Cuisine – 830 Barrydowne Road

Sudbury Trivia 80s Night –  3 rounds of 15 questions, and one bonus question per round. Pages are marked a-la grade 5 math class by passing them to a friend. 11, teams of 2-8. Get there early seats fill up and we don’t take reservations! Winner takes home bragging rights and some awesome prizes are awarded throughout the night! BOARD OF AWESOME: Points scored for being awesome and promoting awesome things! Find a funny answer on someone’s card, even if its not the right answer you can still nominate them for an awesome star. We also reward jokers and pranksters and all those who don’t cheat! Dinner & A Show w/ Lynne Hanson & The Good Intentions – Lynne Hanson’s appearance on April 6 as part of The Motley Kitchen’s popular Dinner & A Show series comes the night before the official release of her fifth album, Uneven Ground. This album is brimming over with imagery and cleverly penned lyrics, and breaks new ground as it honours the traditions of rock, roots, blues and country. The show will be a trio, The Good Intentions, as Lynne is joined by Jason Fryer on electric guitar and Peter Klaassen on bass. 3rd annual Blues for Debi – S.C.C. Promotions presents the third annual ‘Blues for Debi’ Charity Concert taking place Friday, April 7th 2017 at the Upper Hall of the Caruso Club. This year’s concert features the Motor City Soul Sound of Laura Rain and the Caesars. Hailing from Detroit, Laura Rain and the Caesars are aiming to reclaim the motown vibe from California, one show at a time. Shift your Vision – Inversions with Kristen – This workshop will teach you the necessary progressions to develop a safe and effective inversion practice. You’ll learn how inversions are not just a cool thing to do in a yoga class but how they can allow us to see things from an alternate perspective, they empower us, they stimulate the immune and endocrine systems, they strengthen our core and they decompress the spine and relieve tension.  All levels of practice are welcome, however, having a regular yoga practice is recommended. Must be willing to take a leap outside your comfort zone! You will leave feeling rejuvenated and maybe even seeing life a bit differently!
