Meditation & Tea: A Practise for Beginners – Meditation & Tea: A Practise for Beginners. A 4-week session, beginning Novermber 1st, 5:15-5:45. Meditation may cause you to feel peaceful, focused, content, appreciative and attentive. This Yogic based meditation practise uses breath awareness, mantra repetition, mental concentration and physical attention to bring stillness to the mind. Taking a progressive approach, we will build on each class adding both time and technique, making the process simple and easy to learn and practise.  Cost: $40 – 5:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. @ Quinta Essentia Wellness Studio and Bistro – 1685 Lasalle Blvd

Celebrity Server for the Learning Disability Association – Join us on Wednesday November 2 for a Celebrity Server Fundraiser for the Learning Disability Association. All you have to do is come and enjoy a delicious dinner at Boston Pizza! Tell us at the door that you are there to support the LDA and they are going to make 10% of the proceeds from 5-8!!! Plus, you will get to meet a great group of volunteers who will be helping around the restaurant.
