WHEN RAVEN BECAME SPIDER IS A POP ART EXPLOSION

The Art Gallery of Sudbury always has something new in store for visitors and this time around art lovers can look forward to one of the most colourful exhibits of the season! When Raven Became Spider is collaborative exhibition featuring six Indigenous artists fusing graphic novel styles with traditional and modern cultural symbolism. BATTLE OF THE …ARTS?

If you are an artist specializing in painting it is time to put on your armor and work on your warrior call! Art Battle is coming to Sudbury, October 12th 2017 7pm at Cambrian College Student Center, and it is a must see event open to the public.  This one of a kind event sees two brush wielding competitors face off with 20 minutes to create the best piece of art! An “Emergence” of Northern Secondary School Artists

Nothing says Northern Ontario like a bear skin rug, an anti-mosquito suit, and of course, a good old fashioned snowmobile. The GNO, Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario, is presenting our beloved city of Sudbury with its newest exhibition titled le homecoming! CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF MYTHS AND MIRRORS
