It's a punk n' folk kind of night! We are spicing things up at The Asylum by having 2 entirely different musical styles meet on one stage for a night of live music! It's heavy and light, soothing and angry, mild and spicy and it's all happening at the Asylum. Let's help out these touring musicians and show them our support! There's some great talent from Ontario on this bill for those who like light or heavier music. RYAN MACINTYRE (Ottawa Singer/Songwriter) http://www.theasylumsudbury.com/content/ryan-macintyre Closing the night and playing multiple sets of original and cover material, and hailing from Ottawa Ontario, Ryan MacIntyre is a high energy, heavy hitting drummer/vocalist who also plays guitar and writes his own music. Ryan holds down the drum beats with much groove, dexterity, and creativity in the PV3. At the age of 25 Ryan can be found gigging around Ottawa on any given weekend with a handful of different bands and has already used his talent for an “across Canada” tour with Jeff Rogers and The Liquid Sound. With influences ranging in genres from Punk to Funk to Folk and everything inbetween, his style is one that can adapt with ease while maintaining a subtle yet personal flare DIE HEXE (Toronto Crust Punk/Hardcore/Metal) https://www.facebook.com/diehexeband http://www.theasylumsudbury.com/content/die-hexe These guys deliver some ferocious punk/metal goodness from Toronto and will appeal to fans of styles ranging from crust, hardcore, metal/grind, and punk!
