Daisy Chained gives readers a glimpse into the shadow lives of a full cast of characters. For example, in Paige and the Bug, we wonder if this delightful little girl will overcome her fear of bugs. In The Kid Says, we have to think, Jade, with her direct approach to life, will go far. Not all of the stories were written with the intention of giving a laugh. The title story, Daisy Chain, delves into the choices we make, good or bad, and not always, but sometimes, with regret. It is always an author’s hope everyone who reads it will find each story relatable. That when they turn the last page they will have laughed, cried and sighed.
