Mother’s Day High Tea
Join us for our special Mother's day afternoon high tea being held at the Nest on Sunday, May 13, 2018 from 2-4 pm. All of our special mother's will receive a small surprise because we love them! Our high tea menu includes: Premium grade of loose leaf assam tea Petite tea sandwiches Fresh baked scones An array of freshly baked desserts. The cost is $32.00 plus hst per person. Dress code of your Sunday best including hats if you have one! Taking pre-paid reservations now. Message us or call 705-561-5925. We can accommodate some dietary intolerances for a small fee. (gluten friendly, vegan, dairy free; please contact us for additional fee pricing.) Note: only Assam (orange pekoe) tea will be served. any other tea substitutes will be at regular cost. we are unable to serve coffees during our high teas (we wish to respect the delicate ambiance and refined atmosphere for all of our guests.) Join Ray Beaudry for this 2 Part Workshop Series! Part 1: Handstand Prep Tool Box – May 13th This is part one of a two-part handstand workshop. I truly believe that to handstand you need to develop a structure / foundation of your body that will allow you to do so. What to expect: – 15 min warm up flow – Breakdown of handstand anatomy – Drills and prescription on how to reinforce and open your body to be able to handstand properly – Learn to hold a proper handstand as well as safe variations – Two week calendar of drills and breakdown (HOMEWORK – this is where the growth happens) Part 2: Handstand Prep Building Confidence – June 3rd Lets have fun with the progress you all made and keep moving forward What to expect: – 15 min warm up flow – Learning to jump into handstand – Hollow back VS hollow body (use both, understand both) – Handstand shapes – Handstand drills to further improve – How to flow with handstand (sun salutation A) My promise for both workshops is a good time as well as the knowledge and push you need to develop a safe handstand that, with time, will allow you to incorporate into your yoga practice. You can sign up for 1 Part or both Parts.
