BED & BREAKFAST - A HILARIOUS ROMP TO END THE YEAR

After months of being stuck at home watching Netflix it’s time to re-imagine your definition of ‘live stream’. YES Theatre and Sudbury Theatre Centre are back on stage for an end of year production sure to have you in fits of laughter, Bed & Breakfast! The story follows the haphazard hilarity of Brett & Drew as they start up a new B&B after Brett inherits a historic family home in the country. It turns out small-town life isn’t as idyllic as it sounds as they face friction in their new home. The show will be running from November 26th to December 13th at Sudbury Theatre Centre with a limit of 50 tickets per show(COVID-19 protocols in effect). Brett and Drew have just lost their seventh bidding war on a house in Toronto. When Brett unexpectedly inherits the historic family home in a quiet little tourist town, the couple decides to make the move and start up a B & B. But when the guys face friction in their new community, they discover the simple life is more complicated than they thought… Two actors play over twenty roles in this fast-paced comedy about being “out” in the country, skeletons in the closet, and finding a place to call home.

“It has been a very difficult period of time for artists all over the world” comments YES Theatre Artistic Director Alessandro Costantini. “We have all be learning to navigate the very difficult reality of so many projects being postponed or canceled. It brings me great joy to announce these projects and provide much-needed arts and culture events to our community! We assure you that safety is our #1 priority! GET THEE TO THE THEATRE!”

As well as limiting tickets to 50 patrons per performance audience members can expect other COVID-19 safety measures. Theatre volunteers will be on hand with sanitizer as you enter the building, prepurchased tickets will be all digital to avoid direct exchange, doors to the theatre will be open to avoid touching door handles and seats will be physically distanced. A self-screening guide will be available at the entrance, as always if you show any symptoms please go home! The theatre would love to see you but only when you’re feeling better. Masks of course are mandatory within the theatre.
