Welcoming a new little person to your family can be an exciting and nerve wracking (to say the least) time in any Mom’s life. There are many decisions to be made starting from your preferred birth experience to what the first few weeks at home with baby will look like. No option is better or worst than the next but it sure is nice to have an expert to help you navigate the waters and make things a little easier. In comes Northern Mama Maternal Services, with an array of services starting from prenatal education, birth coaching, and post-partum care for mom and baby, their team is ready to take care of all your needs. They’re even available to answer whatever wild questions or concerns run into 24/7! What do you call this magical person? A Doula! Meg Kant is the founder of Northern Mama, after having her first child she found herself wondering how she could have gotten more out of the experience of giving birth. A bit of research (pregnancy Sherpa?) brought her upon Doula care and a new passion was born! Her mission is to help mom’s have the most positive experience possible throughout their pregnancy journey. Meg was an absolute delight to chat with, its easy to see why her clients (and babies) feel so comfortable in her care.
