What could make cracking open a cold beer better? Knowing its been conceptualized, recipe concocted and carefully brewed, right here in Sudbury! Stack Brewing just celebrated its 5th anniversary this summer with Burgergedon, their annual parking lot party which offered an epic feast of burgers from the Townehouse Tavern! It can be tough to recall a time before Stack became a staple in our fridges and beer sections but they sure have covered a lot of ground! From their mainline fair like Valley Girl, Saturday Night or Black Rock, to some of their more experimental brews like Lazer Hozen, Blood Orange Expansion, or Grano Picante. They’ve even branched into TV with their Letter Kenny collab, Puppers and tons of limited edition event brews like their UP festival IPA, or Changeover, their 5th anniversary Brett IPA. Shawn Mailloux is the owner of Stack Brewing and we got into it about where he comes up with ideas for new brews, how Stack got started, Northern Ontario Microbrew Festival, and his preferred tunes while in the shop. Tune into this weeks episode here and check out our Spotify playlist here.
