Downtown Sudbury is full of great local boutiques and shops to browse. In early winter of 2017 a new little spot popped up taking over the corner of Durham and Elgin. The newly minted Good Luck General Store carries everything from tarot cards, local art, house plants, vintage clothing, specialty skincare and wellness items and so much more! Good Luck General Store has quickly become a favourite stop, the ever changing stock means you are never out of new curiosities to check out. Hannah Poole is the owner of Good Luck General Store, a Sudbury native she had relocated to Toronto as an adult. She fell in love with all the esoteric shops you can find throughout the city and wanted to see if she could create the same thing in her hometown. When she found out the unique flat iron store front that once house Cafe Petite Gateau for many years was available it felt like it was meant to be! Hannah describes the shopping experience at Good Luck as something of an energy exchange, she loves getting to know her customers and helping them find the perfect item.
