Christmas Nature Crafts Workshops

Back by popular demand! Conservation Sudbury is pleased to announce our seventh annual Christmas Nature Crafts workshops at the Lake Laurentian Conservation Area Nature Chalet (2309 South Bay Rd.). There will be two workshop sessions this year, an evening workshop for adults on Wednesday, December 6, from 7:00-8:30 p.m., and a workshop for families on Saturday, December 9, running from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon.
Natural items and other fun craft materials will be provided, and donations will be welcomed to cover the costs. Examples of wreaths, swags, table centre-pieces, ornaments, and outdoor arrangements will be available, but feel free to use your own creativity – new ideas are always exciting. Participants in Saturday’s family workshop will also head out for a short, guided hike of the Chickadee Loop Trail to collect some additional natural materials. Music and Christmas goodies will be provided to help get everyone into the holiday spirit!
