The City Still Breathing by Matthew Heiti

Project Bookmark Canada is pleased to announce a Bookmark for Sudbury, ON for a contemporary novel, The City Still Breathing, by Matthew Heiti, published by Coach House Books in 2013. Everyone is warmly invited to the free event celebrating Sudbury’s literature and writers at the official launch of the plaque monument on Thursday, May 3, 4 – 5 p.m., Townehouse Tavern, 206 Elgin Road, Sudbury.

Poet Laureate Kim Fahner, and City Librarian Jessica Watts, first spoke about their Heiti Bookmark idea with Project Bookmark Canada’s founder Miranda Hill, and are delighted their submission has been selected for development. They are also behind the community fundraising campaign.
