NY Homecoming: Casper Skulls, Blonde Elvis, Tofino, Lazy Daisies

$20New Years Eve… Sunday, December 31st… a Homecoming Special… with Casper Skulls, Blonde Elvis, Lazy Daisies and Tofino. $20 +tax advance.
A night of Rock, Garage, Indie, Ambient and Sonic music that will ring in your new ears. Sometimes, there comes a time where our Sudbury musicians often move to the larger centres to be closer to gigs when they are trying to break into the larger stream of the music dream or pursuing other work. Tonight we reunite with our musicians that have gone fishing in the big ocean. Let’s dress the place up like a Homecoming Dance. Get your celebration dancing shoes on tonight and get ready to party like its 2012. 2017 was tough… let’s band together and bring 2018 in with a commu…nity that loves, rocks, stands together and creates unbelievable new worlds.
In this case tonight we have 2 pair of Sudburians who moved down to Toronto for work and playing opportunities and have formed new bands that are quickly getting the attention of major media and audiences. A pair of brothers in Blonde Elvis… Welcome back Jesse and Jordan… and a couple in Casper Skulls… welcome back Neil and Mel. We sent our best videomaker down to Toronto this year, making Lazy Daisies at least in part a Toronto band… welcome back Shawn Kosmo. As for Tofino… still based in Sudbury but with one member commuting from North Bay… they’re still qualified… welcome home. Welcome home all you wayward souls! Punks, misfits, hipsters, loners, students, working folk, music fans, foodies… I don’t know who else there is… but we’re all here at the Townehouse because it is the space where we gather as a community and create something beautiful.
Cheer us into 2018. $20 +HST is the ticket and we will have a light meal at midnight… a midnight toast… party favours… four great bands. Open until 3:00am… Doors at 10pm. This is a long night, so come hungry… come rested… we will take care of the rest. (except for your ride home… you should have that plan as well
