Mining Health and Safety Conference – Industry Event
Themed “Building a strong health and safety culture,” the 20th annual Mining Health and Safety Conference hosted by Workplace Safety North, will be held in Sudbury from April 17 to 19, 2018. Each year, about 300 attendees gather to learn and share their knowledge about mining health and safety, and network with industry professionals. ABC’s & Rice Gala Dinner
ABC’s and Rice Gala Dinner - Charity Dinner and Silent Auction. Join us for dinner and a cause. The 2018 Gala will include a silent auction and keynote speaker Tammy Durand Pomroy, Founding Director of ABC’s and Rice. A selection of Cambodian crafts will be available while we learn about the difference education and food has made in the lives of our students and how ABC’s and Rice will continue to break the cycle of poverty into the future. Tickets are $60/person or $400/Table of 8. Sponsors and donations always welcome. ABCs and Rice differs to most NGO schools in Siem Reap. Hearts of Oak
Join us on April 19th for an exhibition that celebrates the strength, courage and resilience of the families and children from the NOFCC. At the exhibition, the graduating class of 2018 will showcase limited-edition posters of Northern Ontario Animals; these animals embody the characteristics of these inspiring children. Donations made at the event are encouraged. Each donation made at the event will enter you into the door prize draw, which includes a full-size poster designed by Ron Beltrame. We will be selling limited edition 11x17" posters at the event, so make sure to get there early before they’re all gone! Opening remarks will begin around 7pm. Complimentary ordeuvres as well as cash bar.
