NEW EXHIBITION AT THE GNO: LE HOMECOMING

Nothing says Northern Ontario like a bear skin rug, an anti-mosquito suit, and of course, a good old fashioned snowmobile. The GNO, Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario, is presenting our beloved city of Sudbury with its newest exhibition titled le homecoming! Running from March 17th-May 5th, we had the opportunity to attend this exhibition’s opening reception where we were blown away by the intricate detail, amazing textiles, and the rural Northern Ontario feel that artist Jenna Dawn Maclellan worked so hard to create. This exhibition pays tribute to Jenna’s return home (hence the name, le homecoming!) after spending much of her......

HEALTH FOOD STORE REVIEW: WELLNESS SHOPPE

Wellness Shoppe is a cozy health food store located in the south end of Sudbury (1769 Regent St.).  This store carries all your basics to start on your health journey and some pretty cool specialty products I came across.  I was able to easily make my way through the store in about 15 minutes, which is very rare for me, as everything was very well organized.  There is a supplements section, food/snacks section, freezer at the back filled with gluten-free items, fridge at the front, and some neat lunch box idea items. Here is my list of some must......
