The Shoebox Project

The Shoebox Project was founded in 2011 in Toronto, delivering over 400 boxes to residents of four women’s shelters in the city. Since 2011, The Shoebox Project has quickly grown and expanded to cities across Canada and the US. This year Voices for Women will be receiving Shoeboxes here in Sudbury. These thoughtfully created and decorated Shoeboxes will be filled with items valued at $50 and distributed to women who are affected by homelessness in our community.

If you are interested in donating a Shoebox they can be dropped off at
Allstate Insurance (800 Lasalle Blvd) between November 12th and December 11th. They are asking that you wrap the box so that the lid can be opened (lid and bottom separately).
