Did you know today is National Burger Day? If you’re looking to celebrate, you’re in luck because we’re sharing five of our top 5 burgers in Sudbury. And YES we’ve included our favourite vegetarian option as well.

Durham Street Heat @ Oscar’s Grill – 86 Durham Street

If you’re a lover of spice, you’re going to LOVE the Durham Street Heat burgers from Oscar’s Grill. Jalapeño bacon, butter buffalo sauce and scotch bonnet chili aioli – this burger is has the spicy trifecta. Topped with lettuce and tomato.

Fork & Knife @ Hardrock 42 – 117 Elm Street

If you don’t have a BIG appetite, you may want to share this one with someone because this already MASSIVE burger is served on two grilled cheese sandwhiches. A meat lovers dream with house-made pulled pork, double bacon, and shaved pastrami. Topped with mushrooms, sauerkraut, jalapeños, JD bbq sauce, onion rings, cheddar and Swiss cheese.

Beet Burger @ The Townehouse Tavern – 206 Elgin Street

This Beet Burger is vegetarian heaven – but it can also be made vegan! The Townehouse house-made veggie burger is made with a blend of beets, roasted hemp seeds, cashews, eight grain rice and lentils. Topped with Gruyere cheese, chipotle aioli, fresh tomatoes and deep fried onion tangles. If the Beet part is throwing you off, don’t be fooled, this beet burger is FULL of flavour.

Surf & Turf Burger @ Taphouse Northern Grill + Pub

A mix of delicious beef and garlic butter lobster meat, this burger is definitely the most unique on our list. Topped with onion, fresh greens and their house-made roasted garlic peppercorn horseradish aioli, it’s a real delicious treat.

Cheeseburger @ Deluxe Hamburgers – 1737 Regent Street

Deluxe is a Sudbury staple so we had to include their famous cheeseburger on our list. Deluxe french fries are amazing so make it a dinner and add a side of BBQ sauce for your fries, you won’t be disappointed. If you’ve got a sweet tooth you need to satisfy, add a delicious chocolate milkshake to your oder.
