Network with innovative industry partners and learn more about the future of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) at Innovation for a Greater Sudbury this Thursday, November 17th at the Vale Cavern.

What is Innovation for a Greater Sudbury?

Innovation for a Greater Sudbury is an annual event organized by a group of community partners. Every year, NORCAT, Cambrian College, Laurentian University, College Boreal, Ontario Centres of Excellence, and the Sudbury Youth Entrepreneurship Hub collaborate to bring together Sudbury innovators, industry partners and students. IGS is an evening dedicated to collaboration, education and networking amongst innovative industry partners, students, funders and researchers. This year’s event will showcase and highlight a few of Sudbury’s budding ICT and digital media innovators, and the future of digital media in Greater Sudbury.

Who should attend Innovation for a Greater Sudbury?

If you’re interested in what’s happening in the world of digital media in Sudbury, this event is for you. You’ll hear from our expert panel of Sudburian innovators, as they discuss the future of ICT and digital media in Sudbury.

Students will also have a chance to win a Samsung VR headset!

What does the night consist of?

We’re excited to have a stacked agenda for this year’s event.  Mayor Brian Bigger will be kicking off the evening at 6:30pm, followed by our keynote speaker Sarah Paajanen, CTO TimeHero and a panel discussion of Sudbury’s budding ICT and digital media innovators.
