Blues for Debi – C.J. Chenier with his read hot Louisiana band and Northern Memphis Revival will play a Benefit Concert in support of Northern Cancer Foundation! Tony Anselmo (Records on Wheels) and his family are well known in Sudbury for their love of music. If you have been involved with music in some way in our community, there is no doubt that a benefit concert is the perfect way to honour Tony’s late wife Debi Anselmo. Debi lost her battle to cancer on May 28, 2014. The benefit concert presented by SCC Promotions will be taking place in the Upper hall at the Caruso Club. Close to Home by Linda Mullola – ‘Close to Home’ features a collection of nearly 20 recent acrylic landscape paintings by local artist Linda Mullola. Mullola focuses primarily on portraying the distinctive landscapes of Northern Ontario, with the ever-changing seasons providing a wealth of painting inspiration. North Bound Country Band – Sudbury’s newest Country Rock band North Bound, has really been picking up speed over the last few months. Though relatively new, this 5 piece band is no stranger to the music industry. North Bound has the ability to slow things down for an acoustic set allowing their vocal harmonies to take center stage or they can turn up the volume and engage the crowd with their energy and charisma. Because of this versatility, North Bound has played many events including; festivals, weddings, private parties, restaurants/bars and fundraisers.
