The Pink Floyd Night does The WallΒ –Β The Pink Floyd Night performs “The Wall” on Grey Street. Some of Sudbury’s best musicians have been putting together this Pink Floyd night for a few years. People wept openly the first time they watched Anita nail The Great Gig in the Sky. They have done complete renditions of Dark Side, Obscured by Clouds, Atom Heart Mother, Wish You Were Here and Animals… most of Piper at the Gates… the one that has eluded the band is now coming. CHI POW WOW FundraiserΒ –Β Chi Miigwetch πŸ™‚ for all the support with the fundraising initiative for the Chi Pow Wow. Proceeds goes towards the non-profit cultural gathering, August 6 & 7, 2016. Cost: $25-$45 – 6:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. @ Theatre Cambrian – 40 Eyre Streeet

Elgin Street Craft Beer FestivalΒ –Β Founded in 2013, The Elgin Street Craft Beer Festival evolved out of the two sister businesses, The Laughing Buddha and The Townehouse Tavern. The Buddha has been Sudbury’s home of Craft and Imported beers since its opening in 2005. Since 2008, we have driven the province to buy direct from the many small craft brewers in the province as well as purchased direct from importers and LCBO through our license. Pan Am Games FundraiserΒ –Β Melbrook Academy is hosting a fundraiser to help send Canadaian National Team Competititor Scott Bartlett to Mexico for The Pan Am Games in October! Scott will be representing Canada in the -91kg K1 division! Β Demo bouts will be on display at the event. We will be hosting a few gyms from Sudbury as well as teams from southern Ontario!
