Canada Day 2019 in Sudbury

Canada Day is less than a week away! How are you planning to celebrate? Start your day at the Sudbury Community Arena checking out some of the food and craft vendors before grabbing the family and heading to Science North. Catch the fireworks display and then head downtown to end your night with live music at the Townehouse Tavern!

Canada Day 2019 @ Sudbury Community Arena

Hosted by the Sudbury Multicultural and Folk Arts Association now in partnership with the City of Greater Sudbury, celebrate Canada Day at the Community Arena on Monday, July 1st from 10am-4pm. The celebration kicks off with a parade at 9:50 am starting at the Tom Davies Square Courtyard. At the arena you will find more than 25 international food and craft vendors, live performances, activities for kids and a 50/50 draw.

Canada Day Family Celebration @ Science North

Celebrate our country at Science North on Monday, July 1st. They have a full day of fun planned including live entertainment, kids activities, cool science, a stunning firework display and a whole lot more! One Bad Son will be headlining this year’s event followed a spectacular firework display at approximately 10:15 pm. (Depending on weather).

Canada Day with Alex Ginella Band @ The Townehouse Tavern

After the fireworks, head over to The Townehouse Tavern for The Country Casanovas members, the Alex Ginella Band. This is a stripped down version of the 6 piece Western Swing band but will still provide an evening of swinging old country, surf and twang. Admission is $5.
