July has arrived and the best way to kick off the month is by celebrating Canada Day with your fellow Sudburians at one of the many events happening this weekend. Whether you’re looking to spend the day in the sun with your family or indulging in a few drinks with friends, there is something for everyone this year. Here are all of the ways you can celebrate Canada Day in Sudbury this weekend.

 

Saturday, June 30

 

Pre-Canada Day Bash @ Coyotes Lounge & Nightclub – 9pm

Join DJ Iceman at Coyotes Lounge & Nightclub for a pre-Canada Day Bash with Hip Hop, Top 40 & Throwbacks ALL NIGHT.

PowerHouse Vol. 10: Canada Day Kick-Off @ The Asylum Sudbury – 10pm

Celebrate Canada Day early with Empire Event Co. & Sudbury Rave Community at PowerHouse Vol. 10 with local DJ’s Kevin Gee, Derek L, Royboy, and Toomz. There will be a $5 cover.

 

Sunday, July 1st

 

151st Canada Day Celebration @ Sudbury Community Arena – 10am

Take a trip around the world and enjoy delicious food and great performances in celebration of Canada Day. Admission is $2.

Canada Day at the Museum @ Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre

Celebrate Canada Day and the 100th anniversary of the museum house with live music, BBQ and fireworks. Admission is free.

Canada Day Family Celebration @ Science North – 12pm

Join Science North and KiSS 105.3 for their annual Canada Day celebration on the shores of Ramsey Lake. There will be live entertainment, face painting, cool science, live demonstrations, arts and crafts, and a stunning fireworks display. This is a free family event.

Canada Day Bass Boat @ The William Ramsey – 8pm

Hop on the William Ramsey for a three hour fully licensed boat tour of Ramsey Lake featuring Rekka, DJ WESLEY, Ill Smith, ALIGNED, CRTICH. There will be a complimentary shuttle to SRO for Hunter Siegel so get your tickets to both events for $85.

Canada Day Bass Feat. Hunter Siegel @ SRO Nightclub and Lounge – 11pm

Celebrate Canada Day with Bassline Jack and Hunter Siegel. Get up close and personal with one of Canadas best electronic music acts and enjoy some awesome drink specials. Tickets are $25.
